Procrastination Station.

The school calls it "Summer Reading", but I can honestly say I've never read my books during the Summer months. No, I always do the right, mature, responsible thing and procrastinate to the last few days I have left of summer fun. I did so last year, and I didn't even come close to finishing when the project was doing. Lucky for me, this project was more straight forward and reading is something that I can accomplish in a short amount of time and I finished on time! Honestly, I've never had much of a problem with Summer Reading anyway. I enjoy reading just like I enjoy watching television. Sometimes I even like it better just because I get more freedom in creating the characters in my mind. On top of that, for some odd reason, I (and I'm sure many others) feel good about myself when I'm done reading a book unlike when I finish watching an hour long television show. I'm excited for this year because we are doing something that I would consider a strength of mine. Procrastination with assignments will still be a problem, I'm sure. Even as we speak this first blog is due in 10 minutes and I forgot about it until 5 minutes ago. I intend to spend this year prioritizing my time better and strengthening my time management skills in all classes, not just AP English. I can't wait to see what this year has in store of me and I'm prepared work harder than I have in past years!
